Dominique Falisse European Farriers Journal Hosted at the Holiday Inn, Maidenhead on Saturday 22nd May 1999, The Big Debate Was intended to provokes a controversial debate between Traditional Farriery and New shoeing technology. As it turned out on the day after reeling with information overload from the three informative speakers, minimal critical debate but much warm applause. Guest speakers were Gene Ovnicek who revealed more about Natural Balance, Dr Bob Bowker DVM, who revealed some serious findings regarding the condition and health of the lateral cartidges and the digital cushion, and Denis Leveillard who had independently researched the physical center of balance of the foot and had reached the same conclusion as the previous speakers. The whole event was well supported. Certain key members of our profession in the UK were notable by their absence. Questions are being asked in certain quarters about their credibility.

The Trade fair was a great success for all participants and the evening entertainment turned the whole day into a roaring success. Big Thanks goes out the organising branches and especially to Mark Skippon.
