• Powders are more easily mixed into the feed and cannot be discarded by fussy eaters.
• Powders are readily available for digestion and absorption through the gut wall, while pellets must first be broken down in order to release the contents for absorption and this can result in waste.

Ingredients per 50gm/1.8oz

FEEDING RATES:

To be mixed with normal feed. (All quantities are per day NOT per feed). The correct size measuring scoop is provided.

• Fully developed adults: TWO heaped measures (50gm/1.8oz) per 454kg/1000lb body weight PER DAY
• Weaned Foals to Adults: TWO heaped measures (50gm/1.8oz) PER DAY irrespective of body weight.
• Foals: ONE LEVEL measure (12.5gm/0.44oz) PER DAY. (Smaller measuring scoops are available on request from EPC).

A 3kg (6.6 lb.) tub will last an adult 1000lb horse 60 days at a recommended feeding rate of 50gm per day. When horn quality has improved to a constant level it may be possible to maintain condition by feeding HALF the above quantities per day.
