Leverage Reduction Shoes
A new range of alloy shoes are available from TFP. These high quality shoes feature unilateral leverage reduction. The advanced break over toe, a common feature of all Natural Balance shoes now is continued through the quarters almost to the heels.
This facility allows for the advantage of leverage reduction no only in the break over phase of locomotion but more importantly whist animals are turning. With more accurate diagnostics being performed with MRI scanning, it has been found that collateral ligament damage is often caused whilst animals are turning against increased lever lengths, ie shoes with square sides or fitted wide and or with extensions’.
The Leverage Reduction Shoes are available in six sizes from 3x0 to 3 and are available in both flat or graduated from toe to heel. At present the graduated shoes are available in four sizes from 3x0 to 1. These shoes will prove to be a very useful tool for both performance and remedial farriers.
