TFP Seventh International Symposium for Soundness Saturday 14th May 2005 The Seventh annual Symposium for Soundness was a great success. About forty delegates travelled to Horsham for the annual event held at the TFP facility. Several great speakers combined together to give a message of hope and care for our equines. Main topics included, caring for elderly equines, hind limb lameness, farriery history, good vet/farrier relationships. As always, the benefactors will be our equines. The TFP mission statement is to create a more modern and professional practice and to further the art and science of farriery. We did this this day with pride.
Second speaker was Pauline Williams who presented an overview of medical management for the older equine.

Clive's first presentation was an insight into Arkle, one amazing horse. His second presentation was shoeing the hind limb as an aid to skeletal alignment. Not only did Clive and his humour feature strongly in the day he also won the raffle. Well done Clive!
David Lloyd, Veterinary surgeon from the Equine Hospital
Liphook Talked about the latest diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Gene Ovnicek finished the day with his presentation,
Supplying the Farriery needs of the distal limb. The Day seemed to finish too quickly.
Special thanks go out to our supporters Bastian and Frank from Vettec
