A recently published scientific paper* indicated that shoes made from plastic most closely mimicked the natural wear and shock absorption characteristics of hoof horn.  The winning combination of PollySteel® technology and Natural Balance design provides the flexibility for natural foot function yet still offers the protection and durability of conventional metal shoes.

·         The steep inner walls of the shoe and the bridge across the caudal part of the foot allow dirt to pack in the back half of the foot and provide support through the center of the bone column.
